The Lodge at Mountain Village
SKI-IN / SKI-OUT AT PARK CITY MOUNTAIN VILLAGE
FAQs
Why do I need to fill out a pre-arrival form?
Filling out the pre-arrival form helps us prepare everything for your stay. If you’re arriving early, this lets our cleaners know your timing so they can do their best to prioritize your condo (no guarantees, but we’ll text you right away if it’s ready early).
It also tells us if you’ll need the parking pass, how many guests you have (so we can make sure you have enough towels and bedding and extra supplies). The form simply ensures that everything is set up correctly for your arrival.
What time is check-in?
Our standard check-in time is 4:00pm.
What time is check-out?
Our standard check-out time is 10:00am.
Don’t forget to return the parking pass if you used it!
This gives our cleaning crew a window from 10am-4pm to turn the property for our next guest.
Can I check-in early?
On occasion we can guarantee an early check-in for $75. If you fill out the form with a time earlier than 4pm, we will reach out if it’s available.
While we can’t always guarantee early check-ins, we do our best to accommodate when possible. Our cleaning schedule can fluctuate based on guest departures, reservation changes, and housekeeping availability.
If you arrive before your condo is ready, you’re welcome to use our coded storage closet/locker in the hallway to store your belongings.
Please be sure to fill out the guest arrival form — it helps us and our cleaning team plan for your arrival time and guest count, and lets us know you’re waiting for a text if your condo becomes available early.
*Note: This space is shared with the departing guest. If it’s already full, let us know and we’ll provide other options if available. Paid storage is also available in the building through Jackson’s Basecamp and the storage unit located in the P3 Arrival Lounge (both in our building).
Go-ParkCity.com is not responsible for lost items.
Can I schedule a late check-out?
On occasion, we can offer a noon checkout or evening checkout for $75-$150 (depending on the time requested). Please fill out the form with your requested time and we will reach out if it’s available. If you don’t hear from us, feel free to message us. If it’s not available, we do have conviennent/free options below.
Your common area access code will remain active throughout the day after check-out, so you’re welcome to continue enjoying the property! You’ll still have access to the pool and pool showers/locker rooms, ski lockers, fitness center, and the arrival lounge on P3 for as long as you need.
If you’d like to extend your stay, check our calendar to see if your departure date is still open. If it’s about a week out or less, we can often offer that additional night for half off our published rate — just let us know, and we’ll send you a special offer link.
If you need to store luggage after check-out, you’re welcome to use our coded storage closet/locker* in the hallway.
*Note: This space is shared with arriving guests. If it’s full, let us know and we’ll provide other options if available. Paid storage is also available through Jackson’s Basecamp and the storage unit located in the P3 Arrival Lounge (both within our building).
Go-ParkCity.com is not responsible for lost items.
How do I get a parking pass?
Your parking pass is located in the safe inside your condo door. The code for the safe will be sent to you on the day of check-in.
To receive the pass, you must first fill out the guest arrival form and agree to our policies.
Please lock the pass back in the safe at check-out. Lost or unreturned passes incur a $400 replacement fee charged by the HOA, so be sure to return it safely.
Can I get the parking pass early, even if I can’t check in early?
Unfortunately, no — our cleaners need to use the pass to prepare the condo for your arrival. Since you have a car, we suggest grabbing lunch, checking out the Utah Olympic Park or shop at the outlet mall while you wait!
Do we need a rental car?
No — a rental car is not necessary, and we actually recommend you don’t bother! You’re in the best location in Park City.
- Free, easy, public transportation to Old Town, Kimball Junction, Canyons Village, and Deer Valley is available right outside our building.
- Ubers, rideshares, and shuttle services to and from the airport and around town are plentiful.
- Convenience shops and restaurants are within walking distance.
- Parking in Old Town is expensive and scarce, traffic is heavy, and public transportation often has the fast lane.
The only reason to consider a rental car is if you plan to take day trips outside of Park City.
Where do we park?
Parking is on Level P4 — any spot marked “The Lodge at Mountain Village Guests/Owners” is available.
A parking pass is required to use these spots. Please fill out the guest arrival form in order to arrange the pass.
Please note that we are not responsible for vehicles that are booted or towed, so be sure to follow all posted rules and display your pass properly.
How do I get to/from the airport?
There are lots of options for getting to and from the airport:
- Shuttles and private transfers can pick you up directly at the airport and bring you to the Lodge.
- Ubers and other rideshares are widely available and convenient.
- Rental cars are generally not necessary unless you plan to take day trips outside Park City.
For more details, check our guide here: Getting Here. Note: options and pricing change frequently, so please do your own search to confirm current rates and companies.
Can we use the parking pass after check-out?
Unfortunately, no — please lock the parking pass back in the safe at check-out, as our cleaners will need it to prepare the condo for incoming guests.
There are many parking options in the village if you plan ahead, and reservations are required. We recommend reserving as early as the calendar allows. We also suggest moving your car before 9am so you don’t get caught up in skier traffic. Here’s the reservation calendar, options and pricing: Park City Mountain Parking.
INSIDER TIP: The lot right outside our window is the FREE carpool lot (reservation required via the link above). The attendants may let you in if you don’t have all four passengers and you kindly explain the situation. This is at your own discretion and not guaranteed, so plan ahead in case you need to call the rest of your party to come down and hop in the car with you last minute (or just bring them with you to be sure).
What amenities are included at the property?
The Lodge at Mountain Village offers a variety of amenities to make your stay comfortable and convenient:
- Indoor/outdoor pool & hot tub
- Fitness center
- Ski locker room – with ski-in/ski-out access for maximum convenience!
- Parking

Is there a place to store our bags before check-in or after check-out?
Yes! We offer several luggage storage options:
Free locked shared storage closet/locker:
Located in the hallway just next door to our condo. You’re welcome to use it anytime before check-in or after check-out.
Note: This space is shared with the departing/arriving guest, so it is first come/first serve and be aware that the guest before/after you will have the code as well — we are not responsible for items stored in this shared space.
Paid storage options in the building:
- Jackson’s Basecamp (main level)
- P3 Arrival Lounge storage unit (usage instructions are in the lounge)
All options are convenient, easy, and located right inside The Lodge at Mountain Village.
Where should we rent our gear and get 30% off?
Jackson’s Basecamp (located on the first floor of our building) graciously provides our guests with 30% off. Reservations must be booked online in advance.
*We are not affiliated with Jackson’s, so please understand if this offer changes at anytime.
Where can we get discounted lift tickets for Park City Mountain?
The best (and really the only) way to get lift tickets for Park City Mountain is through the Epic Pass:
https://www.epicpass.com/
Epic offers several pass options — full season passes, local passes, multi-day options, and excellent military discounts. The earlier you buy, the better the price, so we highly recommend purchasing as soon as possible.
Park City Mountain does not sell discounted day tickets at the window, and there are no third-party discount options. Buying early through Epic Pass is the only way to save.
Where do we ski-in and out of and store our gear?
The ski-in/ski-out main access is through the Ski Locker Room on P3, one floor below our unit. Take the elevator down to P3, turn the corner into the guest hallway, and you’ll find the locker room about halfway down on the right. Use the common code to enter, then locate our unit’s labeled locker (your locker combo will be included in your arrival message).
You are welcome to use the hall closet for ski/boot storage (by our unit door) if you prefer. It’s almost just as easy to walk out the main entrance on our floor and ski-in/out of the area by Pig Pen.
Skiing Out:
Inside the locker room, there’s an exterior door that opens directly onto the slopes. From here, you can ski right down to Eagle, First Time, the magic carpet learning area, or 3 Kings —super convenient access. You can also ski down from the Pig Pen area mentioned above.
Skiing In:
Follow the signs toward the base area (towards PayDay & Crescent). Continue past the lifts until you reach our building—you’ll also see signs for the Ability Center, Pig Pen and Jackson’s Hideaway. From there, you can glide right back to the locker room entrance or Pig Pen.
PayDay Lift, Ski School and Crescent Lift:
If you would like to start your day at PayDay or Crescent lifts, you should store your gear in our hall locker instead and simply walk out to the plaza on our floor near Jackson’s Basecamp, head up the outdoor steps, and follow the signs to the lifts. Most Ski School groups meet in the area between PayDay lift and our building, just at the top of those steps on the right. You can also access PayDay and Crescent if you ski down from First Time or 3 Kings, so no need to walk up those stairs if you prefer not to!
Where does the free bus stop?
- Free, easy, public transportation to Old Town, Kimball Junction, Canyons Village, and Deer Valley is available right outside our building on the south side of the ice rink.
Is there a washer/dryer?
There are community washer/dryers one floor above us. Be sure to bring quarters, as there are not change machines. We supply a few travel packets of detergent in our units for you and if you need more than provided, you can usually find some at the corner store (by the ice rink) or the nearby grocery store.
What kind of coffee maker do you supply?
We have a standard drip coffee machine AND a Keurig coffee maker in all of our units. We supply a couple of pouches of coffee, a few pods, tea and sugar to get you started, but you will likely need to purchase your favorite options at the store to keep you properly caffeinated throughout your stay. There are also coffee shops in the village just steps away (we suggest Harvest Cafe – take the stairs across from the ice rink and you’ll see it on the left).
Note: if you are staying in unit 166, you have the added choice of a Nespresso coffee machine as well.
What do you stock the condo with for cooking?
We supply basic pots, pans, dinnerware, mugs, glasses and silverware. We have a full size kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven/stove. We don’t officially supply cooking essentials since everyone has different needs and tastes, however there is usually cooking oil, salt, pepper, and a decent selection of species, etc. If we don’t have something you need, feel free to purchase at the store and add it to the supply cabinet.
Do you supply pool towels?
Yes, we supply 2 pool towels.
Please be sure to bring them back to the unit. Every condo in our complex is managed by different companies or owners, so supplies are specific to each condo.
Is the tap water safe to drink in Park City?
Yes, Park City tap water is considered safe to drink and meets or exceeds EPA and Utah state water quality standards. The city performs regular, comprehensive testing and has invested heavily in its water treatment infrastructure to ensure safety and quality. While the water meets regulatory standards, it can have a high mineral content, so for that reason, we do provide options in each of our units for taste:
- 162: We have a maintained RO (Reverse Osmosis) tap at the kitchen sink. This water is delicious! Bring your own travel water bottle and fill it before you hit the slopes!
- 166 and 168: We have a Britta water filter in the fridge for your use. The filter is maintained and changed as needed and help filter out the mineral taste.
